Loreen Leedy is the author and illustrator of over 40 picture books with math, science, language arts, and other curriculum-related content. Her titles include FRACTION ACTION, CRAZY LIKE A FOX: A SIMILE STORY, and THE SHOCKING TRUTH ABOUT ENERGY. She strives to engage young readers by putting information into a meaningful context as well as including fun characters and vivid illustrations. Her books have received many starred reviews as well as recognition from the American Library Association, the National Science Teachers Association, Science Books and Films, Parents’ Choice, and others. She lives with her husband Andrew Schuerger in central Florida.
